1.0 Introduction to Part 1

This 15-hour course will prepare you to teach a yoga class with confidence. We encourage you to refer to the other courses to assist you in the practicum as needed. The purpose of the practicum curriculum is to teach you how to create and teach all portions of a class, step-by-step. It might seem intimidating at first, but by separating a class into smaller portions, you’ll build confidence quickly. The curriculum consists of the following sections: 

  1. Opening
  2. Attunement to breath/Meditation
  3. Warm-up
  4. Demo/Peak pose instruction
  5. Cool-down
  6. Savasana & Closing
